Kiwanis is an international community service organization of volunteers which seeks to create a brighter future for the children of the world.

Being a Public Benevolent Institution, our focus is the provision of benevolent relief to those in particular need.

In an atmosphere of fun and friendship we are involved in a range of projects.

Our main projects target sick and "at risk" children and youth and the homeless. For example, we supply hygiene kits and warm clothing to those experiencing homelessness, partnering currently with the Port Phillip Community Group to distribute our hygiene kits to those who need them the most.

We provide assistance to Children First Foundation (an organization which provides surgical intervention to severely handicapped children and youth from developing countries).

We occasionally support Kiwanis International programs aimed at relieving the suffering of the world's poorest children.

Hygiene Kits Project  - supported by Bendigo Community Bank, Elwood

Our Signature Project
As an ongoing project, we supply hygiene/toiletries kits to those experiencing homelessness. We partner with organizations which directly support the most vulnerable in the local community in order to ensure that our kits go to those who need them the most. We are currently partnering with Port Phillip Community Group and aim to supply the kits in batches of 50 or 100 at a time, according to need and the state of our finances!

In that regard we have received invaluable financial support for many years from the Bendigo Community Bank Elwood.
